About this room

Our smallest room carries a disproportionate amount of charm. The Riverside Nook sits at the bottom of the garden, a few steps from the stream that forms the estate's southern boundary. The walls are thick rammed earth — cool in the heat, warm on harmattan nights — and the room is furnished simply: a good bed, a lamp, a place to put your things. Guests who choose this room tend to return to it. There is something about the sound of moving water and the quietness of the lower garden that makes everything feel slower and more deliberate. The shared outdoor shower is fed by a solar-heated tank.
